In Room 4 we have been learning about compass directions and how maps work here is mine. Argh me hearties if ye want to find me treasure follow these instructions. Start from me ship and then go 5 steps North and 5 steps to me volcano argh !!!Then from me volcano go 9 steps to me cave but beware of me pet bear,he's a feisty one!!!  If ye didn´t get wounded go 4 steps to me smelly hut and ye be closer to me treasure argh !! Next ye go 7 steps to me swamp but don't get lost in the reeds!!! Then go 3 steps to me lake to have a drink of water but don't let the river monster catch you!! Next 3 steps to me forest but don't get lost because your close to me treasure!!! Barnacles you found me treasure so go 7 steps to a red X and discover all of the glory in me chest,  you deserved it argh!!!

L.I Can I organise my ideas into paragraphs? One day in Antarctica there was a single floating iceberg on the cold, frosty water. There were some penguins taking a holiday all the way from the north pole. They were staying there for a week and it was nearly time for them to go back to their delightful home. Suddenly there was a beaming, red ,burning laser that shot out of the sky from what it looked like nowhere. The laser blew up the whole iceberg into bazillion pieces along with the adorable penguins. Luckily there was a penguin who was catching fish and saw  that the iceberg had vanished. When he looked up into the blue sky he saw a humongus flying seal with laser eyes and it was getting away, so he had to swim to his friends HQ because he was a masked agent!!! After swimming for days the penguin found an iceberg and decided to stay there for a rest overnight. When the penguin was getting ready for bed he found a mysterious room and he found a old and wise wizard.

In He Puna Tarei we have been learning about 2D shapes and 3D and shapes.In buddies we have all made What shape am I´s and shared them with our buddies so they could comment on them.  My buddy was Ethan and his one was a bit hard but eventually I guessed his right.Maybe you could guess my What 3D shape am I right? 

In Room 4 we have been learning about ancient art and Egypt is one of the topics and so is hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics are pictures , not letters and are spelt the way it sounds and not how it is spelt. We have also been doing some art of cartouches which are oval frames with rope on it to represent good luck. First we drew our cartouches in pencil. Next we went off to do our water colours.  Finally we went over in Indian ink. Here is my artwork.
